There are places where you can meet some new friends without to sound as rude promoter of your program. Remember! You communicate with people, they are alive, with their own interests and ideas. Open yourself. Let them know you. Make a profile. If you are not too shy, put your picture or at least your own name. This is a good strategy even when you use a simple promotion of your page. But it works better when you first create your own group of friends. You never know where and when they will help to you.
There are some ways to meet friends. Target your interests, this increases your chances to meet people who have something common and you have some topics for discussion.
Visit forums. I have been a member in MyLot - forum what pays per posts. This was a good program for me some years ago, but it decreased the payments and it`s not so effective. You get some money there to participate in the discussions and to create own ones. You comment and rank the others`posts too. It is funny because of the variable discussions and if you like to have some relax. Not too profitable as money making method.
It`s almost the same in Yuwie. You create a page and support it hoping that the others will visit it. Most of the Yuwie people are there to make fun and to chat, not to make money. But stay there if you want. At least you need some rest of the boring business work, dont you?:P
In many guides for marketing they recomend to create a signature with your links. It works. If you are active -the people will know you. They will have an impression about you and may click on your link even because of curiousity to know you better.
