The power of the word DONT

We, the people are strange creatures. From the times of Adam and Eve we dislike to be prohibited to do something. So we instinctively do everything to break the rule -directly or indirectly. This is just another trick to make your program as the apple of Eden for them: make them think that they are stopted to try it. No, i dont mean theese stupid site owners who make their programs with the slogan: FOR WHITE PEOPLE ONLY, everybody else is not wellcomed / we talked about it.
I just mean to put FAKE prohibition -easy to be breaked, seductive and with the idea to make the readers to taste your "apple" with much stronger desire then if you give it to them directly. Just an example. If you make banner or page - you can put a fake button: DONT JOIN HERE...DONT CLICK...
Attention:
Dont be confused to put something like the simple anticheat text links at the most sites. When they say: "dont click, this is anticheat test"- they mean exactly the same: this is really a cheat link and if you click, you will loose money instead of earn.
You can be creative. Put button or banner with a small wink at or aside of it...may be a gun what says: "Dont click or you are dead", "Your mummy said NO, so dont be naughty- DONT click..." there are so many opportunities, hope you understood the idea.
I wish you a lot of naughty visitors and refferals:P

  1. I would have to add a word of caution - don't treat your prospective business partner like a fool.
    There is a blatant example of this type of advertising doing the rounds on exchanges at the moment - it goes something like, "I bet you can't right-click on this page."
    People are not drawn into such ludicrous tempters like this.
